• CUPRU
Procentul de cupru reciclat din Europa
    a crescut la 43% în 2008. Producția
    cuprului electrolitic rafinat secundar
a crescut de la 800 la 857 mii tone,
în timp ce utilizarea cuprului topit direct
a scăzut de la 1.242 la 1.150 mii tone.
O proprietate bună a cuprului este
puritatea infinită a acestuia în timpul
    reciclării. Reciclarea cuprului se poate
face prin robineți vechi, țevi vechi, precum
    și din deșeurile produse prin
    topirea directă.
  • DEEE-uri
Deee au in compoziție substante deosebit
de periculoase pentru mediu și sănătate:
    mercur, plumb, crom, brom, substanțe
    halogene precum CFC (cloro-fluoro-
    -carbon, responsabil pentru diminuarea
stratului de ozon). Fiind atât de
    periculoase, aceste deșeuri nu mai
trebuie să îa calea gropilor de gunoi.
    Ele trebuie colectate separat și
    reciclate, astfel viața și mediul
    înconjurător să fie protejate.
  • ALUMINIU
    Recuperarea deșeurilor de aluminiu este
o sursă importantă de materie primă
    pentru metalurgia secundară a
    aluminiului. Recuperarea are loc prin
    topirea deșeurilor sortate, folosind
    cuptoare de diferite tipuri. Consumul
    de energie pentru obținerea aluminiului
recuperat este mai redus decât pentru
    producerea aluminiului primar, motiv
    pentru care procedeul este considerat
    mai favorabil mediului.
  • DEEE-uri
    DEEE este prescurtarea pentru "Deşeuri
    de echipamente electrice şi
    electronice". În categoria Deee-urilor
intră în general oriece aparat de uz
    casnic sau industrial care contine
    componenre electronice sau motoare
electrice. În Europa, rata de creştere
a Deee-urilor este de 4 ori mai mare
    decât cea a deşeurilor menajere.
    Nocivitatea deşeurilor electrice şi
electronice este de 10 ori mai mare
    decât a deşeurilor obişnuite
  • FIER VECHI
    Revalorificarea deșeurilor feroase
    provenite din resturile procedeelor
    tehnologice cât și materialele feroase
    vechi, protejează mediul înconjurător
    deoarece costurile prelucrării materiei
prime este mai mare cu pana la 50% fată
de costurile de reciclare a metalelor
    feroase, totodată emisia de substante
    periculoase în atmosferă este mult
redusă în procedeul de reciclare a
    materialelor feroase decât în procesarea
    materiei prime.
